RATTAMANG

| Category: Gigantic Rat |
| Origin:
The Rattamang was found in all deset areas on the whole southern Hemisphere. Because this very dangerous and vicious animal cause much death (oh come on…!) it was hunted down and killed a lot by highly advanced wizards that now they have become very rare indeed. But these animals are rather clever and started to hide away and thus enough of them survived to live on. Though they say not many have survived we cannot be too sure of their exact number, since they now live hidden away.

Distinguishing
features: Oddly enough the Rattamang really resembles a common rat in a 1000 x enlargement. Its head though is larger in comparission to his overall body proportion and slightly squarish in shape. Two dazzling blue small eyes are set on the sides of the face. Its feet has toes with very sharp long claws that are deadly and of purple colouring. Males and females look the same and cannot be distinguished. Rattamangs can grow to a height of 9 ft. – 10 ft. Because of its size its long thin tail has the force of a strong leather whip.

Nature: Very vicious!! Very intelligent! Killing instinct is strong and it can smell warm meat a mile off. It usually doesn’t bother hunting small mammals unless there’s nothing else around, but it prefers larger kills as well as wizards. Rattamangs are loners. Only while they mate and during the 3 month of pregnancy they stay together with that chosen mate and hunt together as a rather clever team, similar to the prehistoric raptors. Its more or less impossible to tame this animal. One in a 1000 there may be a wizard getting close enough for comfort and a stroke of its head without being bitten. Don’t even think you’re the one! Don’t try! The Rattamang is hissing violently when angry, tense or even while communicating with its mate. During such hisses saliva sprays all over the place, its accompanied by mean growling and whistling noises. Do not look into its piercing blue small eye, cause its using it to stun you, make you rooted to a place so you can’t run. There’s isn’t all that much of a chance to meet a Rattamang in Britain, but cause they behave so stealthy, always watch out for any growl and whistling sound or sharp spraying noises. |
| Food:
Rattamang is highly carnivorous. It eats all meats, especially warm meat, like freshly killed prey. The Rattamang makes no diffrence whatsoever between magical animal or wizard, or witch, for that matter, if a Rattamang is hungry. |
