Personality:
He's the friendly, helpful, open, cheerful, humorous, but he can be very fussy and a stickler for details. At times he might come across a little pompous throwing around with medical terms knowing very well, that nobody knows what he's talking about. Nevertheless he is easy to have around most of the times. During his school years in Donner-Blitzburg in Germany, he developed a very keen interest in Muggles, their nature and lives.
Physical Description: He's 6 ft tall with a slim physique. His muscles are normally developed like that of a naturally fit person but no more. His eyes are a deep blue and usually sparkling with intelligent curiosity and a hunger for knowledge. His hair is blond, straight, usually kept slightly longer rather than short. Because of it's fine fluffy structure he appears boyish despite his 24 years of age. Rainer likes to dress neat, sporty when at leisure and elegant when the occasion calls for it. His sense of cleanliness and tidiness is well developed, so that Rainer is never found smelling sweaty. He's keen on after-shaves and anything else that will keep him smelling fresh and looking clean. Rainer really hates to get himself or his clothes in a mess. |

Family Background:
Rainer
was born in Stuttgart-Filderstadt, South-Germany to pure blood
wizards: his father, Professor of literature, Ludwig Lautenschlager
and
the concert pianist witch Katharina Lautenschlager
(Maiden name: Wiesenäckerle). He also has a sister, now 18, called
Fredericka. Like all other wizards they received their letter for
attendance at the Blitzburg Akademie der Hexerei und Magie when
they were 11.
Very
soon
in life Rainer noticed his knack for healing spells and charms, at which
he was particulary good, and a strong fascination for the working
of the brain,
mind and wizard-world sciences. Already in 3rd grade he aided
his fellow students with little spell practice exercises and sometimes healed
cuts and small wounds on animals.
When
he started his OWLS he had already decided, that he would train as a healer
after
he left the Donner-Blitzburg Akademie der Hexerei und Magie. Eventually
he finished his 7th year with
top grades. Once he had gotten his magical Healer-title at the St.
Katharina's Krankenhaus in Stuttgart, where he was a trainee, he
moved to London to start working at St. Mungo's hospital. There he continued his
studies and research in Genetics
and the Brain/Mind.
