Stephen is an easy going guy who laughs easily and gets along with most people. He's energetic and while he would like to have a bigger character, he is quite good at acting like a mischievous little kitten because he's somewhat of a brat in real life, and loves practical jokes.

Stephan comes from a very supportive family who is proud of his achievements. His family is well off, and his parents have been happily married for close to 30 years. He is not the stereotypical male theatre dancer in that he has a girlfriend back home, who is, amazingly, much shorter than he is. Stephan has 2 sisters and a brother and none of them dance. He's the second youngest in his family and misses them very much when he's away. He hopes Cats will help jumpstart his career in professional theatre because he's not been able to get anything started since he graduated college.

Through his private school, Stephan has done at least two or three performances per year since he was 11. After graduating college, he's managed to be in a number of off Broadway productions, but nothing large enough to afford a living.
