Personality:
Aware of her good look and not afraid to reap the benefits of it.
However,
she keeps quiet about the fact that *some* benefits were
significantly
enhanced…looks play an important part for her. She is
definitely
not the easiest person to get along with, she is snappy and
moody,
yet full of passion, mostly but not only for her job. On top, she
is a
perfectionist in what she does.

Background/family: Loes was born in Noordwijk aan Zee in Southern Netherlands, a small tourist town and former fishermen village. She attended a music boarding school, where she started taking lessons in dancing, singing, composing and playing various instruments. When she had finished school, her parents separated. While her three sisters and her father stayed in the Netherlands, Loes and her mother moved to the other side of the globe, to Darwin/Australia. Loes quickly became acquainted with the local music scene and started singing in a Rock cover band, later wrote her own lyrics. She also started her professional theatre work in Australia, before she moved back to Europe for her job.
Dance/Vocal qualifications and training: Specialised in theatre since her time in school, Loes went on to study at Darwin Performing Arts Centre and NIDA in Sydney. Besides singing and acting classes, she was trained in classic ballet, contemporary, jazz and show dance as well as choreographing.
Her first theatre experience consisted of semi-professional musical
productions
at her school, including MY FAIR LADY, WEST SIDE STORY and EVITA.Loes
travelled whole Australia with LES MISERABLES, playing several ensemble
parts and understudy to Eponine. In the Netherlands, Loes played
Rosalia, understudy to Stephanie, Connie and Maria in SATURDAY NIGHT
FEVER, Lisa and Sophie in MAMMA MIA as well as ensemble and alternate
Constance in THE 3 MUSKETEERS. She recreated the part of Constance
in the German premiere of THE 3 MUSKETEERS. With SATURDAY
NIGHT
FEVER, she went on tour through Germany, Austria and Switzerland in
the female leading parts Stephanie and Annette. Loes stayed in Zurich to
join the premiere cast of the Queen musical WE WILL ROCK YOU, where she
played Teen Queen and 1st understudy for Ozzy and Teacher.
Playbill:
Loes van de Graff, a Dutch native, trained singing, dancing and acting at the National Institute of Dramatic Arts of Australia and in Darwin.
She
toured Australia and New Zealand as Eponine in LES MIS, later
returned
to Europe to play Sophie in MAMMA MIA, various parts including
Stephanie
Mangano and Annette in SATURDAY NIGHT FEVER and Constance in
THE 3
MUSKETEERS, both the Dutch and the German productions. Loes heads to
Stuttgart from Zurich/Switzerland, where she was part of the WE WILL ROCK
YOU premiere cast.
